Guercif sits where two rivers meet — the Melloulou and the Moulouya — in Morocco's Oriental Region. It is one of the most productive olive territories in North Africa, with groves that have been worked by the same families for generations. Some trees are older than the city itself.
And yet, for most of its history, Guercif's olive oil left the region in bulk tankers, unmarked and underpriced. The same oil that ends up blended into Italian or Spanish bottles — sold in premium markets at ten times the price — started its life here, in these groves, harvested by hand.
guercif.com was built to change that.
We work directly with the cooperatives and growers of the Oriental Region — women-led groups, family olive farmers, beekeepers, herbalists, and artisans — to bring their products to the world under their own name, at a price that reflects their real value.
Every product on this site has a place of origin, a producer, and a story. Nothing is blended out, sourced around, or anonymized. When you buy here, the value stays in Guercif.
