Coopérative Ary Tadoufte is a weaving cooperative from the village of Taddart, in Guercif Province. Its name carries its craft within it: tadouft means wool in Tamazight — the raw material at the heart of everything its members make.
Founded in 2019 and officially registered under n° 445, the cooperative brings together ten women weavers — half of them young — and directly supports ten local families.
Their mission, in their own words, is twofold: to preserve the artisan weaving heritage of the region, and to bring its creations back into everyday life — not as museum pieces, but as textiles made to be lived with and used.
What they make: handwoven textiles in the Guercif tradition. Full catalogue and photos coming soon.
